Welcome to the area's premier football program!!! We are looking forward to another successful and exciting season.
Practices are scheduled to begin on Wednesday, July 31st, 2019 with a three day training camp. The first three days of practice will be without pads. Each team will participate in practice bowl games the weekends of August 16th and 23rd. The regular season will conclude at the end of October/beginning of November, followed by two weeks of playoffs leading to the BGYFL Super Bowl games, which are held second or third weekend in November. Please refer to the FOOTBALL TAB on our website for additional information on the program, age/weight matrix, practices, etc.
In order to begin the registration process, you must have a SportsEngine account. If you already have a SportsEngine account, please provide your information on the bottom left of this page to begin the registration process.
If you do not have a SportsEngine account, you must:
1. Sign Up for a SportEngine account using the Sign Up link on the bottom right of this page;
2. Return to our registration link; and then
3. Input your newly created SportsEngine account information to begin and complete the registration process.
This registration will allow you to provide contact information, sign consents and submit payment. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account information available. Each transaction will incur a 3.25% + $1.00 processing fee. There are two payment choices: PAY IN FULL or PAYMENT PLAN.
The registration fee structure for the 2019 season will be as follows:
Early: Through March 15th - $375.00
Regular: March 16 - June 10th - $395.00
Late: June 11 - July 15th - $450.00
We are happy to announce that this year LFC is offering a sibling discount for families who have multiple children in the program!! We are also offering a referral discount for any family that refers an 8U/9U player and they register. $50.00 will be taken off of registration for the family who referred and the 8U/9U player that registers. Please contact Kelly Grigus via email prior to registering (email@example.com) to receive a discount code.
If PAYMENT PLAN is selected at checkout, a $50 deposit is due at the time of registration, and the remaining balance will be divided into equal installments to be collected on the 15th of each month through July 15, 2019. Payment methods include: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or a checking account.
If you wish to use a different account to pay the balance, please log in to your SportsEngine account BEFORE your next payment is due to update your account information.
Each player will receive a helmet, chin strap, shoulder pads, practice jersey, practice pants and game pants. Also, customized rib shirts will be provided if purchased during registration or at equipment sizing.
For the 2019 season, ALL players are required to purchase new, personalized home and away game jerseys for $100.00. Choosing your jersey number will be on a first registration first serve basis. Please input in the registration form the top 3 numbers your player would like to have. Jerseys will be provided to the players during the pre-season, after practice has started. LFC is also offering OPTIONAL customized Riddell rib and shoulder padded shirts. While the LFC rib shirts are optional to purchase, per BGYFL rules, all players must have on padded rib guards for games. If you elect not to purchase the LFC rib shirt, you must provide one for you player. The cost for the LFC rib shirts is $45.
LFC will hold a pre-season Family Night for all registrants and families to attend. This is a great opportunity to kick-off the season and visit with other LFC families. Family Night will include music, raffles, food and soft drinks. More information will be forthcoming on this event.
There will be two equipment sizing days the week of May 15th - all registrants will be notified in advance of the exact dates and it is Mandatory for players to attend.
On this day, registered football players will be measured and sized for equipment and MUST bring the following:
1. Copy of birth certificate (new players only, meaning those who did not play during the 2018 season);
2. TWO checks dated November 1, 2019:
- $300 equipment deposit
- $125 volunteer security deposit
EQUIPMENT WILL NOT BE DISTRIBUTED UNTIL THESE SECURITY DEPOSIT CHECKS ARE PROVIDED
Checks only are accepted and they will be returned or destroyed following acceptable equipment return at the end of the season and fulfillment of volunteer requirements.
All interested parties must register on-line to be accepted at our in-person sizing day for measuring and sizing equipment - again, no exceptions!
Mandatory Volunteer Requirements
LFC depends on the support of its volunteers. Each family is expected to donate their time to work up to 3 hours in the concession stand, field set-up/take down, field clean-up, equipment cleaning, organization and distribution, etc… during the course of the year. Working the chains on the sidelines does not count towards this obligation. This requirement will be strictly enforced and must be honored in order for your family to remain in good standing with LFC and eligible for off-season clinics hosted by LFC as well as eligible for registration the following season. To secure each family's volunteer requirement, LFC will hold a $125 deposit check that will be returned upon fulfillment of volunteer requirements. If families wish to opt out of this requirement, LFC is offering a $100 opt out fee. This opt out will be an option in your registration fees. If you do not opt out, your family will be required to fulfill your volunteer obligation or your $125 check will be cashed at the end of the season.
Registration Closing Date/ Late Fee
As there are limitations to coordinating resources for coaching, equipment as well as constructing rosters, etc… We highly encourage you to register by June 10th. Regular registration is scheduled to close on June 10, 2019. A late registration is available until July 15th with a higher registration fee. Jerseys ordered after June 10th, will not have the player's name sublimated on the jersey. Instead, we will have a "name block" applied to the jersey.
